Award XXV: VACATION

Theme: The theme of this quarter is vacation.

Description: The theme of this quarter is 'vacation', meaning time spent away from home or work to travel or engage in some sort of recreation for leisure or pleasure, a respite from the everyday.

Format: One high-resolution photograph (minimum 300dpi, 3000 px wide) per entry, plus a separate photograph of Womankind magazine. We do not accept sexual or violent images, nudity nor semi-nudity for any of our Awards.

Closes: Midnight 31 October 2021 (AEST)

Conditions

Entry: Open to all Womankind readers (you must submit a photo of the mag with your entry)

Prize: $500 + publication in the subsequent issue of Womankind magazine.

Entries are open to all readers of Womankind magazine, note that you must include a separate photo of the magazine (any edition) when you submit your entry.

Submissions must be sent along with the writer’s full name and title for the photograph via email on the closing date to award 'AT' womankindmag.com (by midnight). You can submit one entry per award.

Conditions: Entries are open to Womankind readers. Entries must be submitted by the due date for the relevant award listed above. One photograph per entry. We do not accept sexual or violent images, nudity nor semi-nudity. All entrants grant Womankind non-exclusive rights (the writer retains copyright over the work) to publish the selected work in Womankind magazine, on Womankind's social media channels, and on womankindmag.com. The winning entry/entries will be selected by the Womankind team based on the quality of the photograph and the strength of  the ideas presented in the work. If there are insufficient entries or if the board is unable to determine a winner in any category the board may decide not to award a prize. All decisions are final, no correspondence will be entered into.
